電話溝通中常用的句子及詞彙
我們在這裏可以再看一次一些比較常見的電話英語詞彙: 無論是查詢來電者的資料、安排駁線、或要求對方再次致電來時,我們也可以以以下的方法表達出來。
to catch a person's name = to understand a person's name 掌握某個人的名字
1) May I know who's calling please 我可否知道是誰來電?
2) May i know who am I speaking to 我可否知道我是與誰對話?
3) I don't catch you name, you are.....? 我並不知道你的名字你是.... ? (catch在這裏本來的意思是抓着、捉着; 在這裏可以解着 "我並 不了解 / 抓着 你的名字)
to be busy 忙碌 / to be engaged 從事 = have other work to do and not able to respond to a telephone call 有其他工作而未能回答有關電話.
1) He is not available at the moment. May I know who's calling please. 他現在並沒有空,請問我可否知道是誰致電嗎?
2) He is busy right now. Can you call back later 他現在正忙碌,你可否遲一些再致電嗎?
3) He is on other line. Would you like to call back later. 他現在正在另外一條線,你可以之後再打來嗎? (line 在這裏的意思是我們常說的 "在另一條接駁通話線之中)
to hold the line 等候接聽電話 = to wait on the telephone 等候電話.
1) Hold the line please.
Please wait. "請等一等" 這是一個簡單的說法
to leave a message 留低訊息 = have someone take note of a message for someone else 接聽電話人士協助留低電話訊息.
1) Do you want to leave a message ? 你會否想留一個訊息嗎?
其他詞彙包括以下說法
to be free 有時間/方便= have time available to do something 有空閒時間作某些事情.
urgent 緊急 = important and require attention immediately 一些需要立即注意的事情.
order / shipment 訂單/ 運輸 = delivery of merchandise 商品 / goods 貨品運輸.
to postpone 延期= put off something to a later date or time 延至下一個時間.
to be delayed 延遲 = not be able to happen on time 不能在指定時間內完成.
to call someone back = return someone's telephone call 回覆某人電話.
Let me put you through = forward your call to that person 讓我轉駁你的電話

就第一部份的查詢, 你可以以以下的例句作答。在現實環境中,英語電話對話沒有太大的限定回覆方式,最 重要是可以以清楚及簡單的英語句子準確表達出來,這樣就足夠了。

-“Thanks for calling, Yes, we have that 多謝你的來電,我們有......./ we can arrange that for you 我們可以為你安排, how many would you like 你要多少個/ When 何時....?
-I am sorry. This colour is very popular and currently ran out of stock. Will you prefer red instead? 不好意思,這隻顏色十分受歡迎因此現正缺貨, 你會考慮紅色嗎?
Caller: very well, never mind, I like that colour too. 可以,冇問題,我都喜歡那隻顏色.
Receiver: “Thank you for your understanding.” 謝謝你的諒解
Receiver: Would you be interested? 你有興趣嗎?/ we can offer some discount if you order xxx我們可提供折扣優惠如果你下單....(engage with the customer; get their opinion on the product/service) 與顧客建立關係索取意見
Caller: Great, I would like to order xxxxx. 好!我想落單購買.....
Receiver:
Thank you very much for your order 多謝你的下單.
I’ll write this up and email you the confirmation by the end of today. 我會寫下及以電郵
